Normally such a job entails protecting the rest of the crew from the occasional ragtag group of space pirates or quelling dangerous alien lifeforms, but Prowl now finds his work cut out for him in organizing a campaign against the ruthless and efficient Decepticons. He served for more than two centuries as lieutenant of the Iacon precinct of the Cybertron Autotrooper Police Force before accepting an offer as the Ark’s security officer and combat tactician.
